Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

Madrid welcomed faith representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to mark cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers presented reflections from faith, culture and public service on how mutual knowledge can help build more inclusive communities.

Throughout the gathering, participants explored themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when supported by education and dialogue.
